On 18^th August 2018 the Sandgrown Beardsmen are set to host the 4th annual British Beard & Moustache Championships, a charity fundraising event.

The British Beard & Moustache Championships 2018 is an open championship that welcomes competitors, supporters and spectators around the globe.

It’s a gender neutral event that welcomes any nationality, sexuality or creed to participate.

There are a number of categories covering a wide variety of facial hair styles along with categories for those without facial hair.

The British Beard & Moustache Championships 2018 will be held in the magnificently elaborate Empress Ballroom of the The Winter Gardens in Blackpool.

Blackpool is reported as having over 13 million visitors each year making it the UKs favourite seaside resort and considered by many as the party capital of the UK.

Blackpool is also home to the world famous Blackpool Tower, Blackpool Pleasure Beach and the only UK Madame Tussauds‘ waxwork exhibition outside of London.
